Sacramento Marketing Inc had our 6th annual thanksgiving potluck this past week. We invited all of our employee’s friends and families and the evening was filled with laughter and fun. It was a great opportunity for all of us in the office to connect and bond all over some delicious meals! We had a little bit of everything at our potluck, from enchiladas to homemade mac and cheese. We believe having work events like this one helps maintain a healthy work culture and keeps the entire team motivated and enthused. Eating meals together, as a team, not only has a positive impact on productivity and team dynamics, it also offers different verticals of your office a chance to interact with each other in an informal setup.
Everyone enjoyed the potluck, one of our account supervisors Marco Sanchez had this to say about it “the potluck was amazing, the food was great. I loved how everyone pitched in and helped and how we got to meet each other’s families. It is important to do these kinds of things so that we can grow as a company and be motivated to keep growing”. Many of our employees shared Marco’s same mindset. This potluck happened to be a combined thanksgiving/ promotion celebration for one of our account supervisors TJ Palmer, into management. TJ has been with the company for two years and shared these warm words about our potluck “I enjoyed our potluck this year primarily because I got to meet my coworkers’ families. Family is a big thing for me, so meeting them made me feel that much more involved in their lives. The food was awesome, no doubt. Each person brought something different to the table and it all came together nicely. One of my favorite parts was Shodel's back story that he gave coming up in the business, and of course, the recognition I received for getting promoted to management. But more importantly, this year’s potluck was just an opportunity for us to come together and enjoy each other's cooking and company outside work.” These annual potlucks are a treasure to us and we can’t wait for the next one!
